We've been engaged by a prestigious National firm to identify a Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist! This position will report to the Litigation Docketing Manager and is a client focused, detail-oriented position that provides multi-jurisdictional litigation docketing support firm wide. The Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist is a fast-paced role, assigned to 20+ filings/day and 6+ attorney requests. We operate in over 100 jurisdictions and so the ability to familiarize oneself with local rules and research as necessary is important. Rulings and filings differ in each jurisdiction, requiring good information retention. This position is in-person Monday - Friday for the first 90 days, expected to transition to a hybrid role, in-office 2+ days/week, after the first 90 days.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead and assist with incoming requested court filings Review of legal documents to review and identify associated deadlines for Federal, State, and Appellate Courts Make entries of litigation deadlines into the docketing database following docketing procedures and methods of entry Generate docket reports and respond to queries as requested by attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants Monitor cases with the use of various online resources and distribute documents, as requested, to case teams Handle all case team inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner Assist with team review and training by providing feedback and updates as needed Process incoming litigation matters from various courts/agencies Responsible for leading multiple high-complexity projects assigned by manager Maintains and helps enforce Litigation Docketing Team protocols Assist the Litigation Docketing Manager with other duties as needed, including advanced reporting, complex docketing procedures, and assigning work to other team members Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position Competencies:
