The Manufacturing Equipment Integration Solution Architect plays a critical role in integrating manufacturing equipment with enterprise systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms. Leveraging expertise in manufacturing processes, Industry 4.0 technologies, and system integration, this role focuses on delivering scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions to improve production efficiency and data flow. The Solution Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless equipment integration and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities

Configure and optimize communication between manufacturing equipment and software platforms using standard protocols. Implement and manage messaging and integration frameworks. Develop solutions for real-time equipment monitoring, data acquisition, and production tracking. Collaborate with software engineering teams to develop and deploy custom software or configured solutions. Participate in all phases of the integration process. Create detailed technical documentation. Partner with manufacturing operations, IT, and other business stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor. Provide troubleshooting support. Identify root causes of integration issues. Stay updated on emerging technologies. Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) projects. Identify opportunities for process automation. Experiences/Education - Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in systems integration, software development, and/or manufacturing technology. Proven experience integrating manufacturing equipment with MES and ERP systems. Experience with ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT, or other message queueing technologies. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies. Strong understanding of integration technologies. Proficiency in software development using Java and/or C#. Experience working with Factory Automation Systems. Knowledge of Agile project management tools. Experiences/Education - Desired

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience with data analytics and reporting tools. Familiarity with QMS, WMS, PLM, or other manufacturing systems. Demonstrated project management experience. Travel: Up to 25% This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $103,426.00 - $142,211.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
