Controls Engineer
We are seeking a
Controls Engineer
in
Georgetown, KY
to support and optimize automation systems in our automotive seating production. The Controls Engineer role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting continuous improvement in a high-paced manufacturing environment Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems Support automated equipment including sensors, HMIs, servo drives, and pneumatic circuits. Maintain documentation and backups of machine control programs. Diagnose issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Implement error-proofing and data collection systems. Collaborate on continuous improvement and root-cause analysis initiatives. Review equipment control drawings and contribute to specifications. Qualifications: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. 23 years in manufacturing with PLC programming focus. Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs is required; experience with additional PLC platforms is a plus. Automotive and Just-In-Time (JIT) experience is highly preferred.
