Duties and Responsibilities Surface Preparation: Prepare and clean surfaces, including sanding, scraping, and priming, to ensure proper paint adhesion including steel and aluminum surfaces and others by assignment. Painting and Coating: Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Color Matching and Mixing: Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and finish, ensuring consistency in texture and hue. Detail Work: Mask areas to protect surfaces not being painted, ensuring sharp lines and neat edges. Quality Control: Inspect completed work for any imperfections and make necessary touch-ups to ensure smooth, flawless finishes. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear while working with chemicals and equipment. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition. Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and address any concerns they may have regarding the painting process. Project Management: Plan and organize work efficiently to meet deadlines and minimize disruption to clients. Proper Disposal of paint and other hazardous materials. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in the heat. Proven experience as a Painter or in a related field (residential, commercial, or industrial painting). Familiarity with various painting techniques and tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns). Ability to prepare surfaces and apply coatings effectively. Knowledge of color theory and mixing paints. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors in the heat. Proven experience as a Painter or in a related field (residential, commercial, or industrial painting). Familiarity with various painting techniques and tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns).
