Senior Full-Stack Java Developer

TieTalent . DPP is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer for an opportunity in Columbia, SC. Work arrangement: Onsite in Columbia, SC during training; partial onsite after training. Employment type: W2 position; 6 months.
Responsibilities
Operate within an Agile Scrum environment, participating in standard Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups. Collaborate with team members to discuss production issues, prioritize tasks, and coordinate action items. Handle action requests involving system enhancements and configuration changes by analyzing both front-end and back-end code. Work with Spring MVC and JSP to understand and improve UI behavior. Utilize jQuery for troubleshooting and enhancing client-side interactions. Investigate server-side logic using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate to ensure efficient data access and integration. Provide production support by monitoring logs, diagnosing issues, and deploying fixes using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Splunk. Apply full-stack development skills to quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to maintain system stability and support future releases. Document technical findings and resolutions to support ongoing improvements.
Team overview
Part of the eServices portal group, which includes three Scrum development teams of approximately six members each. Currently focused on Spring framework upgrades and user-facing enhancements. Maintains a collaborative, positive, and team-oriented culture.

Minimum required work experience
8 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
Education/qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree; OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience; OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 12 years without a degree).
Other requirements
Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the clients applicable government contract.
