The Lead Project Manager serves as the
primary oversight for multiple Project Managers (PMs) and Assistant Project Managers (APMs) , ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all assigned projects. While not a Senior PM, the Lead PM acts as a
mentor, escalation point, and operational guide
for their team, bridging the gap between PMs and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Execution
Supervise multiple PMs and APMs, ensuring adherence to Falcon Constructions project management standards. Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and execution, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure PMs maintain project profitability, quality, and safety requirements.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Provide training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for PMs and APMs. Review team performance, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement. Facilitate communication and collaboration across project teams to optimize efficiency.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as an escalation point for project-related issues that PMs or APMs cannot resolve. Maintain and strengthen client relationships while supporting PMs in issue resolution. Ensure alignment between Falcon Construction and client expectations across multiple projects.
Financial & Contractual Oversight
Review and advise on project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost controls. Support PMs in contract negotiations and subcontractor agreements. Monitor financial performance across projects, identifying risks and opportunities.
Process Improvement & Compliance
Ensure PMs adhere to company procedures, industry best practices, and compliance standards. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements for better project execution. Standardize reporting and documentation practices across teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide multiple PMs/APMs. Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communication and negotiation skills for client and subcontractor management. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight of construction projects. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and bend. Must be able to communicate clearly with clients, subcontractors, and employees. Occasional travel to job sites may be required. Benefits
