Overview

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Tool Designer to join our Fabrication Division in Auburn, WA and Frederickson, WA. This is a Production Engineering role that requires direct interfacing with people and equipment on the production floor. A successful candidate will have passion for process improvement, enjoy working on the production floor with mechanics, safety, and tool makers, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity. Our teams are hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Level Equipment and Tool Designers. Primary Responsibilities

Design, analyze and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling to meet stakeholder requirements Create fully developed tool drawings including all applicable dimensions, notes, and bill of materials Conduct all applicable design reviews with stakeholders Perform tool liaison activities to support tool fabrication and production use Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Equivalent combination of education and experience (Associates + 3 years related work experience OR 5 years related work experience) Preferred Qualifications

Level 4: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Extensive knowledge of CATIA V5 / ENOVIA Extensive knowledge of single- and multi-sheet tool drawing layout, including GD&T Extensive knowledge of tool liaison activities, including tooling non-conformances Other Requirements
