Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Understanding and knowledge of Linux fundamentals and Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Collaborate as a team member in a fast-paced environment; troubleshoot to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including hardware/OS integration. Understand data RAID/storage and data backup technologies; install and configure software applications requested by end users. Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements; provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures. Obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date. Develop solutions and documentation for a variety of technical problems. Support 24x7 operational systems; occasionally work beyond standard hours. Travel up to 5%. Full-time 100% onsite position. Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Masters degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Current and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility. Linux experience. Windows experience. Experience in one of the following: Active Directory, MySQL, networking administration. Qualifications We Prefer
VMware highly desired. Active DoD TS/SCI or prior SCI/program eligibility. DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) and an OS certification. Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF. In-depth Windows Server experience. Experience with data storage, NAS, SAN technologies; VMware vCenter/vSphere/ESX or other virtualization. Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes. Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SMECP, and/or Exchange. Understanding of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in a Linux environment. Scripting experience. What We Offer
