We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Transportation Bridge Engineer to join our Baltimore office. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career by working on a wide range of bridge and transportation structure projects with the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers. In this role, the engineer will work on a multi-disciplinary team developing bridge and structural plans for transportation projects for MDOT, VDOT and/or municipal localities.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the design and analysis of highway and transit-related bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures. Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and plan sets. Support senior engineers in developing construction documents and specifications. Conduct fieldwork including bridge inspections, data collection, and site visits as needed. Apply structural engineering principles and software tools to solve complex design challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across WRA to deliver high-quality projects. Requirements
Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program, master's degree preferred 0-4 years of relevant experience required Desire relevant internship experience Must be able to work independently and in a design group setting EIT/FE certification preferred NBIS inspection, a plus Required Submissions:

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $97,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
