Responsibilities The Lead Product Solutions Architect (Lead PSA) serves as the strategic bridge between business vision and technical execution for the HIVE enterprise data and analytics platform. Ensure every solutiondata pipeline, analytic dashboard, AI model, or integrated workflowis designed with scalability, governance, and business value at its core. Act as architect and advisor, partnering with business leaders to translate goals into future-proof technical designs and ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently on the Databricks Lakehouse, Azure, and other enterprise platforms. Drive the creation of data products that meet immediate needs and enhance trust, quality, and insight generation across the organization. Key Accountabilities Solution Architecture & Delivery:
Lead the design of end-to-end data products leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake (bronze/silver/gold layers), and related analytics tools. Translate business objectives into technical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and governance standards. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or cross-domain solutions that require executive-level engagement and prioritization. Collaborate with Platform Leads and Senior Product Manager to ensure solution designs are executable within agreed timelines, budgets, and resourcing plans. Business Engagement & Strategic Alignment:
Partner with other Product Managers and business stakeholders during ideation, roadmap planning, and intake to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic objectives. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define requirements, success criteria, and criticality levels for products. Advocate for HIVE adoption by demonstrating platform capabilities and communicating value to senior business leaders. Governance, Quality, and Compliance:
Enforce governance and best practices, including Data Terms, Schema, and Reference Data; Data Catalog & Business Glossary; Master Data Management (MDM); Metadata & Lineage tracking. Ensure adherence to file organization structures within the lake (bronze, silver, gold layers) to maintain quality, accessibility, and scalability. Drive data quality processes and partner with the Governance Lead to monitor compliance with standards and policies. Leadership & Enablement:
Mentor Product Solutions Architects across business domains, promoting consistency in design and delivery approaches. Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the PSA practice, including reusable design patterns and accelerators. Support cross-team knowledge sharing through documentation, showcases, and collaboration tools. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required; Masters degree or MBA preferred. 8+ years in data architecture, analytics, or solution design roles, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. Experience in the renewable energy sector or a similarly complex, data-rich industry is highly desirable. Deep knowledge of corporate SaaS business and financial system integrations (ERP, CRM, CLM), Databricks Lakehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DevOps, and enterprise BI/AI platforms. Strong understanding of data governance, cataloguing, business glossary, and MDM. Excellent communication skills translating between business and technical audiences; Agile experience and ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to translate business challenges into scalable, governed data solutions and product frameworks. Technical Skills:
Product Lifecycle Management, Agile/Scrum/SAFe, Azure DevOps; Backlog grooming, KPI tracking, SharePoint; data governance and quality frameworks; exposure to Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Microsoft Purview, LucidChart, Monday.com, Oracle, Salesforce, and related tools. Compensation & Benefits The expected starting pay range for this role is $118,000 - $160,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below based on location, experience, certifications, and education. The compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care, EAP, paid time off and holidays, 401(k)/RRSP retirement plan with employer contribution, and employee referral bonuses).
