Quality Control Technician
Schedule: 3rd shift The Quality Control Technician will thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment, where they will perform a variety of chemical tests including HPLC, GC, pH, FTIR, percent solids, viscosity, color, odor, and appearance tests, alongside some titrations and other wet chemistry techniques. The role primarily involves product testing in the lab, blending samples, and documenting test results. The technician will spend 80% of their time in the lab, 10% on production lines, and 10% on paperwork and data entry. There will be opportunities to test liquid contents destined for aerosols and occasionally test aerosolized products. Responsibilities Conduct HPLC, GC, pH, FTIR, and various wet chemistry tests. Perform product testing and sample blending in the laboratory. Document test results meticulously in paperwork and notebooks. Engage in data entry and maintain accurate records. Participate in testing of both liquid and aerosolized product contents. Essential Skills 1-2+ years of GC or LC experience in any industry. Proficiency in HPLC, GC, pH, FTIR, and wet chemistry techniques. High School Diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications GC experience is highly critical for this role. Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field is preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $56160.00/yr.
