Responsibilities With specific parts ownership, drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple process steps that span the full value stream of the parts. Provide focused and effective leadership in advancing MRL elements to drive manufacturing risk identification and mitigation to achieve superior quality performance. Identify and implement process optimization and control methods to eliminate or prevent quality turnbacks/escapes and reduce overall product costs. As a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT), collaborate with product designers, tool designers, ESA, quality assurance, and other stakeholders. Drive targeted manufacturing process optimization activities through MRL tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis, yield & cost curves, and qualification plans. Document problem statements, observations, conclusions, calculations, and recommendations with thorough discipline and follow-through. Work with senior management to support the project pipeline process to select, prioritize, and scope projects aligned with business objectives and CORE initiatives. Lead significant projects to improve manufacturing process capability and quality performance, and execute process tryouts, Delta FAI, PARs, Delta PPAP, and EFPR.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical field with 6 years of relevant experience, or Masters degree with 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in general machining including turning, milling, and grinding. Technical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities, with experience leading and managing a portfolio of cross-functional projects. U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
Qualifications We Prefer
Familiarization with CNC controls, machining techniques, cutting tools, and machine fixtures. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics; process monitoring and data collection. Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and gain cooperation across levels. CORE/6 Sigma Practitioner/Professional certification; continuous improvement skills (DFSS, Lean, etc.). Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and work independently.

Salary range: 82,000 USD 164,000 USD.
