The Host will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area and will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role, the Host should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift
Primary Responsibilities
Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list, as necessary. Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions. Manage reservations. Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas. Provide great customer service. Requirements
Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress. Understanding of restaurant etiquette. Experience in managing reservations, excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person). Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area. Available to work different hours including weekends, days and nights.
