Environmental, Health and Safety Manager Fiber Chem, Inc 1 Positions ID: 79494 Posted On 08/25/2025 Job Overview Environmental, Health and Safety Manager Dubuque, IA We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to be based in our Dubuque, IA location. What you will be doing: The EHS Manager will develop and implement health and safety plans in line with legal guidelines and enforce policies that promote a culture of safety. Collaborating with supervisors, you will foster a "Safety First" mindset by encouraging best practices, providing training, leading health and safety meetings, and conducting root cause analyses to address and correct safety issues. Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and company standards. Investigate incidents, near misses, and other safety concerns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain records and reports related to workplace injuries, incidents, and safety inspections. Develop and conduct health and safety training programs for all employees, ensuring they understand and comply with safety regulations. Lead regular health and safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety awareness and best practices. Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize risks and prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases. Collaborate with operations personnel to implement safety measures and controls to mitigate identified risks. Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to continuously improve the health and safety program. What you bring: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field experience. Minimum of 2-years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in an industrial construction environment. BCSP certifications or similar certifications are strongly preferred. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). Proficiency with ISNetworld and DISA. Ability to influence and drive a culture of safety across the organization. Strong leadership, communication, and training skills. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
