CNC Programmer/Lead

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Lead who will play a critical role in our manufacturing processes. This position involves gathering and analyzing input from Engineering and Production teams to address fixturing and work-holding needs. You will design and fabricate fixtures that optimize fabrication, material, labor, and machine utilization costs through various technologies like Vertical CNC milling, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and ultrasonic welding. Your contributions will ensure our processes are efficient, robust, and aligned with our high standards. Gather and analyze input from Engineering and Production regarding fixturing and work-holding needs. Design and fabricate fixtures for optimal fabrication, material, labor, and machine utilization. Modify fixtures and work-holding devices to meet Production and Engineering requirements. Ensure ease-of-use and repeatability in fixtures and devices. Follow prescribed standards of Vertical CNC Milling operations, programming, edits, and set-ups. Develop Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for optimal use of fixtures and work-holding devices. Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling, implementing corrective actions for process improvement. Experience in programming and machining. Proficiency with Solidworks and Mastercam. Strong understanding of tool and die processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with lathe and mill operations. Proficiency in G code and CAM software. Experience as a CNC programmer, CNC mill operator, or CNC lathe operator. Experience in prototype machining and mold making. Skills in 3D modeling. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
