We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about construction, has an eye for detail, and loves overcoming challenges. As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, so strong communication skills are a must.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle management, from initiation to completion.
2. Manage all financial aspects of projects, including budgets, bids, and contracts.
3. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
4. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress while ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
5. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
6. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
7. Maintain a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer needs and expectations in all activities.
8. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, regularly reviewing the output to track project performance and make necessary corrections.
9. Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
10. Mitigate any potential risks or issues, implementing contingency plans when necessary.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
2. Proven working experience as a commercial project manager.
3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction management.
4. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
5. Proficiency in project management software tools.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage a project with minimal supervision.
7. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
10. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
11. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
12. Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
