Water/Wastewater Engineer
One of our industry-leading clients currently has a full-time position available for an experienced water/wastewater engineer. Responsibilities: The Water/Wastewater Engineer will perform complex assignments exercising judgment in the evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures Creating detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems, including plans and specifications, site layouts, and size and select equipment Perform construction phase engineering tasks including field investigations, submittal reviews, and construction observation Plan and prepare, or review, technical specifications and other procurement and contract documents in collaboration with senior and mid-level technical staff Collaborating with project managers and clients toward the implementation of designs; writing engineering reports and technical memoranda Key requirements: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, agricultural, biological engineering or related field 5+ years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering Professional Engineering Licensed Experience in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D for design plan production Demonstrated understanding of one or more of the following: drinking water treatment and reuse, wastewater treatment, master planning, conveyance and storage, and/or treatment processes and technologies Experience presenting technical concepts to municipalities through written reports and presentations Strong understanding of the design process (i.e., conceptual design through construction engineering Locations: Virginia, Oregon, Hawaii, Florida, Washington, Colorado, Indiana, Arizona, Illinois, Kentucky, and Ohio
