Halff is seeking to immediately hire an entry-level Planner with an emphasis in urban design and graphic skillsets for their Oklahoma City, OK office. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of planners, landscape architects, and others, to provide production support on a wide variety of planning efforts with public and private entities ranging from comprehensive plan preparation; park, recreation, and trails planning and design; active transportation planning; downtown and corridor planning; corridor studies; and urban design efforts.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment to help client communities proactively plan and design for their future.
What you will do: Planning project support; Research, data compilation, and document production; Mapping and geographic data analysis; Conceptual site planning and design; Graphic design including document templates and graphic renderings; and, Support of client/consultant collaboration. What you will need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in community/urban planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture or a closely related field; advanced degree a plus; 0 to 3 years of experience in a planning capacity; new graduates encouraged to apply Well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated; Strong writing skills; Demonstrated experience with industry software applications (ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, etc.) and the ability to produce attractive maps, graphics, and documents; and, Ability to travel periodically to client jurisdictions. Experience in both the public and private sector; desired. AICP and/or other certifications from our allied professions (ASLA, AIA, CNU-A, LEED-ND, etc.), desired. The Halff Advantage

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
