We are looking for a Package Designer for a top beauty company in El Segundo. CA!
Responsibilities: Organized Create 2D + 3D renderings for product packaging Mechanicals Laying out artwork Ensure packaging designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines. Pack up files to send to suppliers Understand printing deco treatments, pantones, foil, etc PLUS- Have experience in using TAG (software to upload/approve artwork) Conceptual design for secondary packaging Experience in creating grandioso moodboards that speak to the concept Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to understand packaging requirements and project goals Conduct design research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovative packaging designs. Anticipates potential roadblocks and develops proactive solutions Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of packaging designs. Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all packaging designs meet quality standards and are error-free. Be aware of accurate project timelines and deliver designs within specified deadlines. Adapt to changing project requirements and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Stay current on industry trends. Follow brand guidelines. 4+ years experience in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field. Proven experience as a Packaging Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative packaging designs. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino or solid works, InDesign, Dimension) and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of packaging design principles, materials, and production processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to manager. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also independently. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
