Cloud Developer IV

for an opportunity in Columbia, SC. Work arrangement: onsite is highly preferred, but open to remote. W2 position; 6 months. Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the clients applicable government contract. Responsibilities

A typical day for this Cloud Developer involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications that align with enterprise architecture standards. Write and update code in languages like Python or Node.js, deploying serverless functions using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions. Use Terraform to define infrastructure as code, ensuring consistent and secure deployment of cloud resources. Integrate services such as API Gateway, S3, or Cosmos DB to support application functionality. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to automate testing and deployments. Containerize applications using Docker and occasionally deploy them to Kubernetes clusters for more complex workloads. Monitor and troubleshoot using tools like CloudWatch or Datadog to ensure system performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical documentation, and provide guidance on cloud best practices. Required technologies

Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud or Azure and lift-and-shift or re-platforming projects. Experience with DevSecOps in the Cloud Experience with Full-stack Java/Java EE implementation and JavaScript frameworks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI) and monitoring. Cloud Platform expertise (AWS or Azure), with services like API Gateway, Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, etc. Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proficiency with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Agile experience with Jira and Confluence Nice to have

Monitoring and Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor). Experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Fargate, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes). Hands-on proficiency with Python. Cloud certifications. Minimum required experience

6 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience. Education and qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field; or Associate degree in CS, IT, or related field plus 2 years of work-related experience; or 4 years of job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree). How to apply
