Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support across the organization, ensuring smooth front desk operations and contributing to a positive workplace environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges in accordance with company security protocols.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Support HR and other departments with clerical tasks as needed.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
  • Bilingual – Spanish is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with UPS shipping software.
  • Experience with MS Outlook database, MS CRM, and MS NAV.

Work Environment

The role is based in a busy manufacturing environment where the receptionist will sit at the front desk. The work setting is dynamic, and interactions can be direct and straightforward. The position is open to direct placement or contract-to-hire, with a likelihood of starting on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
