As a Caregiver At Home Instead, You Role Will
- Provide companionship to our clients so no license or certification needed
- Engage in meaningful & lively conversations
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and washing dishes
- Prepare delicious and nutritious meals
- Offer reminders for medications and appointments
- Provide stand-by shower assistance
- Assist with dressing and walking (provide an arm for stabilization)
- Offer transportation to appointments and social outings
- Provide specialized care, including Alzheimer’s support
- Document daily activities
- Maintain open communication with office staff regarding changes in a client’s needs or living conditions
- You want to create a positive and caring environment to enhance the quality of life for our clients
- You are compassionate and treat others and their property with dignity and respect
- You thrive in a fun, friendly, team-oriented work environment
- You are dedicated, reliable, and able to commit to shift assignments
- You have flexibility in your work hours, including holidays and weekends.
- You have a reliable vehicle and are comfortable driving your clients
- You are available to work at least 16-20 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
- You are at least 21 years of age
- Pay range between $18.10 - $19.05
- Differential pay based on shifts and client needs
- Competitive base salary with opportunities for additional pay based on your client schedule
- Holidays are paid at a rate of time & a half
- Mileage reimbursement
