We are seeking kindhearted and energetic Non-Certified Caregivers and Certified Caregivers who have a genuine desire to help seniors. The purpose of this position is to provide a broad range of support services to our Assisted Living residents. If you don’t have an Arizona Caregiver Certification yet, we’ll provide training at no cost to you.

Responsibilities

• Document care provided and report changes in resident condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform welfare checks on residents.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Provide physical assistance, laundry and bedding assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Certified Caregivers/MedTechs will administer prescribed medications to patients and complete medication records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Coachable with willingness and ability to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care.
• Certified Caregivers or MedTechs must provide proof of valid Arizona caregiver certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) is mandatory.
• TB test with a current negative result prior to start date.
