Primary Purpose:

As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing a retail marketing team focused on building brand awareness and generating sales leads through retail partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement retail-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for follow-up by the sales team.
  • Identify and schedule the retail marketing team's activities within your assigned territory.
  • Oversee budget management and staffing within our retail affiliates.
  • Lead the marketing team in generating new sales leads efficiently.
  • Manage the setup and breakdown of retail marketing materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence locally.
  • Recruit, hire, and train Retail Marketers, ensuring accountability through established goals and KPIs.
  • Develop timelines and organizational plans, facilitating communication across the organization.
  • Track and analyze retail metrics to assess the performance and ROI of retail partnerships.
  • Achieve and exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in lead generation and management within direct-to-consumer industries.
  • Strong skills in recruiting and training.
  • Experience managing large-scale budgets and planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current best practices and innovative strategies in retail marketing.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Adept at juggling tasks and responding to various stakeholders' demands without losing focus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong active listening skills to comprehend and respond to information thoughtfully.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on completing tasks efficiently and effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in both normal office and field environments.
  • Perform tasks indoors in climate-controlled environments and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Medium work, requiring the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
