Industrial Electrician Job at Taggart Electric, Inc. in Oneonta

We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. This role focuses on providing safe and efficient electrical systems for commercial clients, specializing in industrial, manufacturing, and industrial work environments. Candidates with a town or city electrical license will be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and fixtures in industrial and commercial settings

• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems

• Troubleshoot and repair motor and control systems

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring, systems, and equipment

• Adhere to all quality, safety, and regulatory codes

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical work, industrial electrical engineering, or related fields

• Knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Experience with electrical equipment and hand tools

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills

• Town or city electrical license is a plus
