ProCare Therapy is hiring: Schools - Social Worker in Albuquerque

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based social worker position is available in Albuquerque, NM, on a contract basis. This role focuses on addressing the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students within the school environment, providing support that fosters student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and support students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions
• Connect students and families with community resources and services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student needs

Qualifications:

• Valid Social Worker licensure or certification as required by the state
• Experience working in educational or school settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple cases
• Knowledge of community resources and referral procedures
