Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) t o join our client's rehabilitation team in Texas. In this important role, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care and support the delivery of effective physical therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities for a PTA: Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy programs for patients with various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Conduct patient assessments and gather information to support the development of personalized therapy plans. Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, while monitoring patient progress. Educate patients and their families about exercises, techniques, and home care to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries. Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and any changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment outcomes. Maintain and clean therapy equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly sanitized. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and effective therapy environment. Required Qualifications:
Associate's of Arts Degree and accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas. Valid CPR Certification. Benefits:
