Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The Division of Plastic Surgery has an integrated residency program with two (2) residents per year and is involved in medical student education and research.

Required qualifications include an M.D. or D.O., successful completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency program, board eligible/certified in plastic surgery, hold or be able to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of New York. Job Description/Responsibilities for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Microsurgeon Clinical Breast microsurgery Head and Neck microvascular and general reconstruction Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction General reconstruction Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call Applicants should have the following: NYS Licensure MD or DO Completion of an approved Plastic Surgery Residency Program Board Eligible/Certified in Plastic Surgery DEA certification We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including: Competitive base salary range $385,000-$513,000 depending on academic rank with additional incentive bonus opportunity Robust sign-on bonus to welcome you to the team Relocation assistance to help make your move seamless Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Albany Med retirement plan plus a 403(b) Annual CME allowance and dedicated CME time Occurrence-based malpractice coverage Employee wellness programs and mental health support This position is not eligible for a J1 waiver but candidates on an H1B or O1 visa are encouraged to apply.
