Community-based Family Medicine Residency seeking a Faculty Physician

practice opportunity, including the option to choose outpatient, inpatient, obstetrics, or full spectrum. Join a team of 4 Board Certified Family Physicians. Doctorate level pharmacist and psychologist also on the teaching faculty. 18-resident ACGME accredited program. Hospital employed & teaching in a single hospital. Close relationship with on-site Internal Medicine Residency & Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program. University of Iowa Affiliated program with optional academic appointment at University of Iowa and Des Moines University. Medical student teaching opportunities. This role is involved in the administration, supervision, and patient care activities pursuant to the education of the family medicine residents. Requirements include: Minimum of an M.D. or D.O. degree from an approved medical school Completion of an ACGME accredited family medicine residency Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Family Medicine 1-3 years of experience is preferred but not required. Experience in graduate medical education is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to effectively deal with a broad range of people and personalities. This opportunity is able to sponsor H-1B visa candidates.
