Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for our price sign products in the manufacturing industry. This role demands a high degree of technical expertise and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strong background in Makefiles, Linux or RTOS, and ARM.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test embedded software for price sign products using Makefiles, Linux or RTOS, and ARM.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
4. Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
5. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the software.
6. Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
7. Provide post-production support when necessary.
8. Document and maintain software functionality.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive.
10. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
3. Proven experience with Makefiles, Linux or RTOS, and ARM.
4. Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating system (RTOS), and microcontroller fundamentals.
5. Proficient in C/C++ programming.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus.
