About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership in all aspects of human capital management. The successful candidate will be responsible for culture building, collaboration with the executive team on strategic planning, and overseeing a range of HR functions including employee onboarding, benefit programs, performance management, and training. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in growth and scalability of operations, particularly in a multi-state environment with a focus on California. The VP of HR will also be involved in strategic workforce planning, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Candidates for the VP of HR position at the company should have a Master's degree or equivalent, or 5-7 years' related experience, and hold a PHR or SHRM-CP certification. A PHRca, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP is strongly preferred. The role demands a leader who can provide innovative HR solutions, lead a team of HR professionals, and work closely with the executive team to integrate new businesses and manage change. The VP of HR will be an advisor to the executive team and functional leaders, and will be responsible for the development and management of HR budgets. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to delivering HR initiatives and be adept at building and maintaining technology-driven methods for managing HR functions.
