Position: RPA Developer Contract: W2 Only Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Raas Infotek LLC, is seeking the following. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and identify automation opportunities. Build scalable, reusable, and efficient automation workflows while adhering to best practices and governance standards. Perform testing, debugging, and deployment of bots in development, UAT, and production environments. Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud services. Monitor, maintain, and support existing automations, ensuring reliability, performance, and exception handling. Create detailed technical documentation including process design documents (PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), and operational handbooks. Use tools like Git, DevOps pipelines, and version control for automation lifecycle management and deployments. Work in Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate on automation modernization initiatives involving AI/ML, intelligent document processing (IDP), and cloud-native RPA platforms. Required Skills
7+ years of experience in software development, process automation, or RPA. Strong proficiency in at least one leading RPA platform (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism). Expertise in designing automation workflows, exception handling, and reusable components. Proficient in programming/scripting languages (C#, .NET, Python, or VBScript). Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and data integration. Experience with orchestrators, control rooms, or RPA management tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices. Knowledge of enterprise IT environments including APIs, web services, cloud platforms, and virtualization. Experience with error handling, logging frameworks, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of process assessment, documentation, and automation feasibility analysis. Nice-to-Have
Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration, NLP, or intelligent OCR solutions (ABBYY, Document Understanding, or similar). Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate), BPM tools, or workflow automation frameworks. Familiarity with cloud-native RPA deployments (Azure Automation, AWS Step Functions, Google Cloud Platform Workflows). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform). Knowledge of compliance standards, security best practices, and audit requirements in automation. Understanding of real-time event-driven automation (Kafka, Event Hub, or similar). Soft Skills
