Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant primarily provides administrative support to the COO/CNE, and others as directed. Reports to the Executive Coordinator. Will timely and accurately provide the administrative duties and responsibilities of the Nursing Administration department while making discretionary decisions, coordinating meetings, events, and other arrangements on behalf of the COO/CNE. Performs multiple administrative functions and special projects of a confidential nature. The Administrative Assistant serves as point of contact with the system and service area offices relative to supporting senior management personnel as needed. May interact with regional and corporate personnel on a day-to-day basis. Attends meetings and maintains reports, and may manage corporate and administrative records for French Hospital Medical Center and entities as applicable. Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent, required. One (1) year full-time similar capacity supporting an organization's senior management member, in a healthcare setting, desired. Associate Degree in related field, desired. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written Spanish, clearly, concisely, and accurately, desired. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Computer skills in Excel, Word, mail merge, Outlook scheduling. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Reacts calmly and efficiently in emergencies and unpredictable situations. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
