(required); • Experience mentoring and providing consultation and direction to other Social Services Applications (SSA) staff (4 years); • Experience analyzing and interpreting technical information, including regulations, policy, and automation system documentation (4 years); • Experience communicating in writing, translating user/business needs into a technical style, and communicating technical instructions to system users (4 years); • Experience planning and coordinating individual and group work activities (4 years); • Experience detecting and diagnosing application problems (4 years); • Experience creating technical designs for solutions to problems (4 years); • Experience working professionally with a broad range of stakeholders (4 years); • Experience preparing concise business requirements, technical specifications documents and related artifacts (4 years)

Responsibilities: • Participate in complex IT business requirements gathering, analysis, and related activities for Business Automation and Social Services Applications (SSA); • Interpret and analyze HHSC assistance program policies and procedures to determine impacts on automated systems and eligibility processes; • Meet with business areas and external stakeholders to define system requirements and develop business rules, requirements, and technical specifications; • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives; • Monitor internal operations, vendor performance, and system functionality, reporting deficiencies and supporting corrective action plans; • Review and produce complex project deliverables, including design documentation, test plans, audits, and risk assessments; • Provide production support, technical assistance, peer reviews, and prepare/present communications, documentation, and audit responses
