We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to build, optimize, and support enterprise-scale data pipelines and platforms in a cloud-native environment. Youll work closely with stakeholders across engineering, analytics, and business teams to drive innovation through modern data architecture. Responsibilities
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and related services. Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform high-volume datasets from multiple sources. Manage data transformation and storage in Azure Data Lake and Synapse SQL Pools. Automate data prep tasks and ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with teams across cloud infrastructure, visualization, and governance to deliver end-to-end solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize pipelines and services for speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Qualifications
810+ years of experience in enterprise data engineering and analytics. 4+ years hands-on with Azure cloud data stack: Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, Power BI. Strong experience in SQL, Python, and scripting languages like KQL or SCOPE. Proficiency with data modeling, OLAP concepts, and cloud-based data warehousing. Background in Agile delivery frameworks; familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD is a plus. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Azure data certifications are highly desirable. Bonus Skills
Experience with Databricks, Spark Pools, Cosmos DB, CDC tools Knowledge of contextualization tools like Cognite Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and visualization tools like Tableau Exposure to medallion data lake architecture and data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin) Details
