Summer Associate Program

Overview Lending Automation Technology & Solutions (LATS) is a support team for multiple applications utilized by all Lending Business Units within Navy Federal. This team provides development, project, and system support directly to all Lending Business Units. The Summer Associate will be working on process automation delivery related tasks, ranging from analysis to application development and support. The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later. Responsibilities Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics Use elicitation techniques to gather information/requirements at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder's needs Analyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output Develop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutions Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results Collaborate with key partners in development and delivery of solutions Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related degree Strong foundation in computer science or related field, programming skills and knowledge of C#, Visual studio and/or web technologies Good communication and problem-solving abilities Research, analysis, and documentation skills About Us Navy Federal provides much more than a job.
