Outstanding medical students and internal medicine residents, as well as a group of faculty who are passionate about teaching, curriculum development, and medical education scholarship, create a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment that provides ample opportunity for professional development.

We are seeking general internists to serve as Assistant Professor Clinician-Educators, responsible for both patient care and teaching of medical students and internal medicine residents in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Clinical work is located at urban academic referral hospitals for general inpatient work (UPMC Presbyterian and Shadyside) and at four primary care academic clinics, including hospital and community-based. Throughout our practices, we care for a diverse population of patients.

Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certification in Internal Medicine. Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania. Strong commitment to teaching and academic excellence.
