We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our private practice team. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and collaboration with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and functional assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient goals, physician orders, and insurance requirements. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, and functional mobility training. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and strategies for long-term health and wellness. Document all evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. Supervise and delegate to physical therapist assistants (PTAs), techs, and support staff as appropriate. Participate in staff meetings, clinical education, and quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to the growth of the practice through excellent patient care, community engagement, and professional development.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date). CPR/BLS certification. Strong clinical reasoning, manual therapy skills, and commitment to evidence-based practice. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or neurological rehabilitation. Advanced certifications (e.g., OCS, SCS, McKenzie, Dry Needling, Manual Therapy). Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance documentation requirements.
