At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for an Inpatient LNA to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the Inpatient LNA:
Provides basic, age-appropriate nursing care and treatments for patients to meet psychosocial and physical needs.
Assists with feeding patients and maintaining fluid balance.
Maintains awareness of patients' needs and meets the communication needs of patients.
Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
Provides timely notification to a RN when a patient complains of pain, demonstrates changes in status and responses, or has abnormal findings.
Provides explanation to patient and family prior to administering care to patient and answers questions.
Performs all aspects of patient care in a method that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/ healthcare errors.
An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
Current LNA licensure in the State of New Hampshire
Current BCLS certification.
Ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful situations.
Willingness to take initiative, be proactive, and function independently when appropriate
High integrity, able to follow procedures
Ability to be a self-motivated learner and to take initiative in self-development
