Mercy Hospital Springfield : Family-centered maternity care, modern birthing suites, Level III NICU, and nationally recognized for maternity excellence. What Does an OB/GYN Hospitalist Do? Care for all pregnant women who present emergently Support private practice physicians & unassigned patients Deliver babies, perform surgery & assist in procedures Provide consultations to the ED Mentor residents, medical students & nurses Participate in safety drills, best practices & quality initiatives What is an OBHG Site Director?
