Your construction background will be essential as you tackle everything from structural repairs to custom build-outs that enhance our properties.Core responsibilities:Execute construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, and structural repairsRead and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for renovation projectsCoordinate with construction teams on major renovations and property improvementsPerform expert-level repairs on doors, windows, decks, and building exteriorsDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsLead tenant improvement projects from initial assessment through completionMaintain detailed documentation of all construction work and building modificationsMentor junior technicians in both construction techniques and general maintenanceSeasonal requirements:Winter snow removal support with early 4 AM starts during storm events (overtime paid)On-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (additional compensation provided)Peak season flexibility to ensure resident satisfactionWhat you bring to our teamWe're looking for a skilled professional who combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.Essential qualifications:3+ years of hands-on construction experience with demonstrated carpentry and framing skillsProficiency in construction methods, building codes, and mechanical installation standardsAbility to perform all phases of carpentry from rough framing to finish workStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsAbility to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsExperience with both power tools and hand tools used in constructionValid Colorado driver's license with clean driving recordPhysical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditionsCommitment to safety protocols and OSHA compliancePreferred experience:Formal construction trade training or apprenticeship completionExperience with mountain construction challenges (snow loads, altitude considerations)Technical certifications in specialized trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Remodeling or restoration project experienceKnowledge of sustainable building practices and energy efficiencyBilingual skills (Spanish/English) for diverse resident and contractor communicationExperience in estimating materials and project timelinesCompensation and benefits that support your careerTotal compensation package valued at $85,000-$95,000 including:Base hourly rate: $32-$37/hour based on experience and certifications ($66,560-$76,960 annually)Health & wellness: $350/month ICHRA contribution for medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement: 401(k) with 4% company match, vested immediatelyTime off: 17 days PTO to start, 10 paid holidays, plus 48 hours paid sick leave annually per Colorado lawProfessional development: Paid certifications and continuing education opportunitiesAnnual wellness credit: For personal development and mountain lifestyle activitiesWork perks: Company vehicle provided, cell phone allowance, tool allowanceOvertime opportunities: Time-and-a-half for emergency calls and snow removalReady to join Colorado's premier property maintenance team?If you're a skilled construction professional who values variety, craftsmanship, and the opportunity to work on diverse building projects in Colorado's most desirable communities, we want to meet you.
