Overview

Midland Garage Door is seeking Warehouse Associates to join our team. The company has been in business for over 45 years and emphasizes dedicated staff, excellent customer service and quality products.

Schedule and Compensation

Day Shift: 7:30am–4:00pm. Starting Wage: $22/hour. Occasional overtime and weekend shifts may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand/power tools
• Knowledge of all models of doors
• Understand Section Height Charts
• Safely lift and carry completed sections
• Manually load and unload trailers
• Move completed orders to the correct locations

Cross training between departments will also be expected in time.

Marginal Duties

• Assist in Production and Shipping areas as requested
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management

Competencies and Qualifications

• Maintains a high level of quality to eliminate mistakes
• Operate with passion, energy and enthusiasm
• Safety-conscious with a high level of attention to detail and organization
• Excellent time management skills; mechanical aptitude; ability to read a tape measure
• Skilled hand/eye coordination; ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to read and interpret job specs; perform basic math skills
• Sound judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to bend, crouch, twist and stand for the shift (10 hours)
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
• Self-motivated; honest and trustworthy; able to understand and take direction
• Clear communication in English, both orally and in writing; prompt and reliable attendance
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
