Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a Junior Data Analyst located in Fairfax, Virginia. The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to assist in making well-informed business decisions. Daily tasks will include data cleansing, generating reports, identifying trends, and collaborating with various teams to support data-driven initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Python)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present data insights effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the IT industry is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Fairfax, Virginia
