As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an educational setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle as required. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support a positive atmosphere that aligns with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the school buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client policies while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements; this is primarily a driving post and driving experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
