The Opportunity
Tripleseat is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Manager to own and elevate our brand's narrative. You will be the strategic force behind our organic social media, crafting a distinct voice and engaging content that will be amplified and adapted across multiple touchpoints—from PR and webinars to our website and beyond. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller, a gifted writer, and a strategic thinker who is passionate about building community and driving engagement.
While you will be the driving force behind our organic social media strategy, your canvas will be much larger. You will be responsible for creating a wide array of compelling content and will play a key role in our public relations efforts. Key Responsibilities
1. Organic Social Media Strategy & Management (45%)
Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy for key platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and inbound leads.
Manage the day-to-day organic social and content calendars, including copywriting, scheduling, and publishing of all social media content.
Lead the creation of native social media content, including short-form video (reels, shorts), graphics, and carousels.
Monitor social channels, actively engage with our community, and identify opportunities for growth.
Analyze and report on social media performance, using data to inform and refine future strategies.
Research and recommend new and emerging platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Reddit) that align with our brand and audience.
2. Content Amplification & Multi-Format Creation (30%)
Act as the team's primary content amplifier, transforming core marketing assets into engaging content for a variety of channels.
Partner with the sales and success teams to source and create compelling customer stories, including written testimonials and video case studies.
Collaborate with the Content Specialist to repurpose long-form content (blogs, whitepapers) into engaging, channel-specific formats like infographics, webinar decks, and video scripts.
3. Public Relations & Communications (25%)
Drive PR initiatives by drafting and pitching press releases, company announcements, and unique story ideas to relevant media outlets.
Craft compelling thought leadership articles and bylines for ghostwriting opportunities for company executives.
Identify and manage submissions for relevant industry awards and speaking opportunities to elevate the Tripleseat brand profile.
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers.
Experience: You have 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a marketing communications or content creation role, with a strong portfolio of work. Experience in B2B SaaS or the hospitality industry is a major plus.
Exceptional Writer & Storyteller: You possess outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a demonstrated ability to adapt your tone and style for different formats and channels—from snappy social media copy to professional press releases.
Social Media Savvy: You have proven success managing and growing professional social media accounts (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and can point to specific campaigns that drove engagement and brand awareness. You understand what makes content resonate on each platform.
Modern Content Creator: You have hands-on experience creating and editing various content formats, especially short-form video. You are nimble and can turn ideas into engaging content quickly.
Marketing Technology Proficiency: You are comfortable working within a modern marketing tech stack. Specific experience is desired in:
Social Media Management & Listening: Platforms like Sprout Social, BrandWatch or Meltwater, and HubSpot.
Design: Tools like Canva or the Adobe Creative Suite.
CMS: Basic knowledge of platforms like WordPress.
Data-Driven Mindset: You use data and analytics to measure the impact of your work and use those insights to refine your strategy and prove ROI.
PR & Communications Acumen: You have experience or a strong familiarity with public relations best practices, including media pitching and writing for the press.
Project Management: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative Spirit: You are a proactive team player who enjoys working cross-functionally to bring stories to life.
