Master Electrician

Our client, a leader in the cleaning equipment industry, is seeking a Master Electrician to join their team. As a Master Electrician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Master Electrician

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Pay Range: $77,000 - $125,000 + $10K Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Fee (If Needed)

Shift: 5AM - 3PM; Monday - Thursday

What's the Job?

  • Perform various levels of electrical work including installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions using test instruments while adhering to local and state building regulations.
  • Manage and support facility projects, including the layout and wiring of new electrical systems.
  • Provide maintenance and operational assistance to machine operators as needed.
  • Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, and blueprints in an organized manner.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. with completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • State of Minnesota Class A Master Electrician License required within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience with automation, PLC, BMS, and related control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
