Electrician Location: Travel

Position Overview: The Traveling Facilities Maintenance Electrician will conduct site surveys, install, commission, and maintain gas and electrical water meters across multiple Army Reserve Joint Base facilities. This role ensures precise utility metering, maintains compliance with building and military standards, and supports uninterrupted base operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough on-site assessments of utility infrastructure at Army Reserve Joint Bases.
• Inspect conduit runs, meter locations, switchgear, and associated electrical systems, documenting findings via detailed reports.
• Install, wire, terminate, and calibrate gas and water meters, including smart/CT-equipped systems. Coordinate installation work per NEC, NFPA 70E, military codes, and manufacturer instructions.
• Pull conduit and wire, terminate control wiring, and troubleshoot metering interfaces per schematics. Install distribution panels, disconnects, and signal cables as necessary.
• Use testing tools-lamp meters, voltage meters, clamp meters-to verify proper operation. Troubleshoot malfunctions and re-test until equipment functions correctly.
• Generate site survey notes, installation logs, daily QA/QC and safety reports. Maintain accurate equipment inventories and document parts usage.
