Based in our West Sacramento office, you will be a key partner to the HR Director and the face of HR for multiple locations. This isn't a desk job—you'll be on the move, providing direct, on-the-ground support to our valued employees and managers. You'll be the go-to expert for everything from employee relations and recruitment to benefits and development, making a tangible impact on our business and our people every single day. This role requires regular travel to our Stockton site, with quarterly visits to Fresno, Concord, and Reno, giving you the opportunity to connect with and support our entire team.

Responsibilities

• Champion Our Talent: Own the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to find and attract the best people who will thrive in our unique, employee-owned culture
• Nurture Our Culture: Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations. You'll provide guidance, conduct investigations with professionalism and empathy, and empower managers to lead their teams effectively
• Deliver Exceptional Benefits: Manage our incredible benefits program (including our 100% paid employee medical, dental, and vision!) from enrollment to issue resolution, ensuring our team feels valued and supported

• Support Key HR Initiatives: Actively participate in performance management, policy implementation, and other special projects that help move the company forward

What You Bring To The Table

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist, with a proven track record of supporting employees across multiple sites
• HR Expertise: Strong understanding of core HR functions and working knowledge of California and Nevada employment law (FMLA, EEO, FLSA, etc.). A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is a plus
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience with HRIS platforms
• Exceptional Communicator: Ability to build trust and rapport with people at all levels and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion
• Master Organizer: Excellent multi-tasking, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Road Warrior: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly to support our teams
