Job Description
Phoenix Investors (“Phoenix”) is a national commercial real estate firm based in Milwaukee, WI whose core business is the revitalization of former manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. This strategy leads to positively transforming communities and restarting the economic engine in the communities we serve. Phoenix is rapidly expanding and seeks a Business Process Analyst to contribute to its growing team.
In this position, you are part of a team responsible for identifying process inefficiencies across all business operations and driving improvement through process re-design and/or technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive positive changes in business processes and standard operating procedures
- Listen to and understand stakeholder needs and requirements for project deliverables
- Navigate culture to develop working relationships with stakeholders/project team
- Challenge “status quo” beliefs and foster a culture of continuous improvement mindset
- Work in complex and demanding environments to drive towards objectives
- Create and build documentation of business process maps that can be used to develop intelligent automation solutions
- Assist in other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3-5 years of experience in process improvement and solution delivery
- Master’s Degree and/or CPA license is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience working on a cross-functional team to manage and deliver change
- Prior experience with an enterprise ERP (prior experience with YARDI is a large plus)
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills; the candidate will be required to interface with internal and external stakeholders (property managers, finance team, tenants, etc.)
- Works well against deadlines
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
- Ability to seek information and problem solve
- Standout “can do” attitude and enthusiasm to drive and innovate processes
