Call Center Representative
Come join our Venice Family Clinic team to make a difference in the community. As a Call Center Representative you will receive guidance and direction from the Call Center Manager, and will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to perform a full range of duties, such as:
- Provide prompt and courteous telephone assistance to callers.
- Answer, screen and triage a high volume of incoming calls, verify eligibility, and schedule for multiple services across our Venice Family Clinic.
- Manage and respond to incoming messages from the patient portal.
- Contact patients to offer follow up appointments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary range: $26.42 - 37.49 Hourly
Required:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a call center or in a medical setting that includes patient registration, appointment scheduling or health insurance enrollment or equivalent education/experience.
- Good oral communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and concisely.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a team or independently.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and organize workload to optimize efficiency, and verify insurance coverage via the internet in appropriate websites.
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy 45+ wpm.
